We are thrilled to feature the 20th anniversary issue of Brachytherapy. This is an
incredible milestone for the Journal which has become the premier Journal for the
specialty of Brachytherapy. Over the years we have created an infrastructure for the
Journal which includes a section editor, associate editors and our distinguished editorial
board. The editorial board represents the most renowned experienced practitioners
of brachytherapy in the world adding a great deal of prestige to this Journal. The
managing editor David Newcombe and the publisher have done an extraordinary job over
the years building this Journal and its reputation to the highest levels of excellence.
The peer review process is always timely, and the process is extremely efficient which
is the mark of a mature journal.
